The traffic circle at Delta and Linwood, the only one Cincinnati has, still moves the same way it did last July. Same pause at the crosswalk in front of Zip's, same evening drift toward the patio at Delwood, same dog walkers cutting through toward Ault Park. Look one storefront deeper, though, and the Square is quietly a different place than it was twelve months ago.
The shift is not a new restaurant row. It is a single building at 1018 Delta Avenue that spent most of the pandemic era half-dark and is now, as of January, fully leased. That one address explains most of what feels different this summer, and it points to where the neighborhood's commercial identity is drifting: less bar-and-burger monoculture, more wellness, services, and small-format offices tucked above the street.
